Our quartet works mostly on gospel music as well as some traditional hymns. Most of the music is rearranged for a mixed quartet.
Our group started out of a desire to have a quartet and the fact that the adult choir had dwindled down to one each of the four parts (us) -- thus, when we started the quartet, we were dubbed "The Faithful Four."
We first began our practices at the beginning of the year 2002. We started singing about once every other month, and continue to do so.
In November of 2004 we put on a concert along with our good friends Gary & Becky Dugan for CitiTeam Ministries, which was a huge success.
We have sung at a mobile home park for Christmas both in 2005 and we were asked in 2006.
In 2007, our quartet went through a change that God was involved in (as He always is). He brought us a Tenor that brought our group to a wonderful blend. And as this change has been so significant, we have changed the group's name to represent the change God has made in us. We are now Heaven Sound Quartet.
For Easter 2008, we did a set of 5 songs that build up to the Resurrection.
Heaven Sound Quartet put on a benefit concert for Sacred Hreart in October '09 (revised date), and although we would have liked to seen a better showing, we will continue to let God guide us in this ministry...to His glory not ours!
We will be singing for Easter, April 4, 2010.
