The Ministry

THE MINISTRY:

Currently we have 25 children living in our hostel. We have a cook and a caretaker who also serves as a teacher. In addition:

We provide breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
Education: Free education to all.
Housing: Free housing is provided to all children so they do not have to walk long distances to reach the School.
Motivation: We motivate the children to read and grow for better lives.

Funds Needed

FUNDS NEEDED:

All ministry require resources of prayer and financial support. These are current needs for this ministry:

$5,000 to purchase land
$10,000 to build hostel building
$1000 to dig tube well
$300 to purchase beds
$15 Per month to support a child (up to 50 Children)
There are some current special needs.

I would implore you to help us carry on this work by your prayers and financial support. God has been really good by helping us touch the lives of children as well as their families. We have been enjoying the work as well as the challenges coming to us.

Who We Are

WHO WE ARE :

WESERVE is a non-profit Christian organization doing God’s work in Chhattisgarh India.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. Jesus died on the cross to bring salvation to us. Our teaching is based on the Bible as the word of God. We believe in the trinity. We believe in faith, hope, love and baptism by immersion.

Location

LOCATION:

Banabel Children’s Home is 48 Kilometers North East of Bilaspur city, the second largest town in the Chhattisgarh State. This area is surrounded by mountains with several villages in the vicinity. Most of the inhabitants are tribal people living in mud houses and engaged in farming. While coming from New Delhi by train Belghana is 60 kms before Bilaspur and Banabel is only 5 kms North East from Belghana.

Goals For 2006/2007

GOALS for 2006/2007:

To continue the Banabel Kids Home this year. My planning is to increase the number of kids from twenty-five to fifty.
Share the Gospel in a near-by village.
Build Hostel building for the kids, provide beds and mattresses, etc. Since last two years they have been sleeping on mud floors.

God Working In Our Lives

GOD WORKING IN OUR LIVES:

I know He wants me to glorify His name in the Banabel area, and bring the good news to the people who really don't know who Jesus is.
God has blesses me through the Christian Church of Santa Clara.
Big promise that "I will never leave or forsake you. I am the Lord, God, everything is possible for me."
God is providing for the needs or our family and the needs of twenty-five children of the Banabel Kids Home.
He is a true and faithful Lord. I can see His great assurance is coming out of Christian Church of Santa Clara to us. Thanks to the Church for their love and very special funding to provide the need here in India.

Challenges

CHALLENGES:

Customs and traditions are not such a big problem here in Chattisgrh. We do have challenges here to make people understand just why in the world we are doing this for others. The answer is simply that Jesus has said so, that it is a commandment of Jesus Christ to go tell others about the kingdom of heaven. Yes we face problems with the old traditional mission organization.
