"He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.'" (Mark 16:15)
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14
The mission of the church is to be going and sharing the Gospel with every creature. Additionally, her mission is to make Disciples and lead them to obey God's Word. Our vision is to make sure the Gospel reaches everywhere. Jesus said it perfectly in Acts 1:8, "Be My witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
The following is a brief picture of our Evangelistic outreach in fulfilling Christ's command. They need our daily prayers equally as much as our financial support.
GOALS:
- Make Foreign Missions a Priority
- Have consistent Speakers on foreign missions
- Help send church member to other lands on short term mission trips
- Encourage and support prospective missionaries
- To Inform
- To keep before the Congregation the events, needs, victories, and discouragements of our Missionaries
- To Motivate
- To gain Congregational involvement
- To take part in Missions and Mission support projects
- To pray for our Missionaries
- To Gain Participation
- Empower individuals through classes and total church outreach

Mission support is raised through a tithe of the general fund giving. Our missionaries rely on the support they receive and we are dedicated to our missionaries.
Special projects are funded by freewill from members of the congregation above and beyond their normal weekly tithes. These special offerings are a significant part of the total spending for missions.

The Missions Ministry Committee will meet at least once every other month, on a time and date set forth by the leaders.. The committee will go over mission events, missionary news & needs, planning of events and communication with the rest of the congregation. |
